Viral Marketing Examples - Why We Do Not Give Specific Examples About Viral Marketing Campaigns

I write a lot about viral marketing examples. As a result, I get emails all the time from people asking me why I do not give specific advice about my campaigns. I draw from examples that are hypothetical in nature rather than from my actual real life viral marketing campaigns.

The reason for this is not greed as you might be thinking, but rather, it is for our mutual benefit.

Let us suppose that I provided links to all of my viral marketing campaigns and you (and thousands of others of my readers) clicked through all those links and created the same or very similar products. You can imagine what the result would be, thousands of products all almost exactly the same or very similar permeating the market.

This was my biggest source of frustration when I was learning. I used to think “If you care so much about my success, then why can’t I see what you are doing?”

Now think about a new person entering the Internet Marketing Arena, he or she is researching and finding exactly the same information and the same products at every turn. Not only can this person not learn but he or she is feeling frustrated because it is all the same stuff.

I believe that internet marketing only works if we all work together. With the possible exception of a few top names that you are probably already familiar with, none of us can make money unless we all are making money.
